Adura Olalehin is one of Nigeria’s most accomplished boxing professionals: an elite boxer, internationally certified coach, sports administrator and technical expert. Over decades in high-performance boxing he has developed athletes, coaches and boxing programmes in Nigeria and internationally.
He serves as Technical Director of the Nigeria Boxing Federation, leading coaching education, athlete development, technical standards, talent identification and the implementation of World Boxing regulations across the country. He is also a Member of the World Boxing Coaching Commission.
His work has always extended to the equipment athletes rely on. Adura has partnered with leading global boxing manufacturers as an Adidas Dealer (USA) and as a Green Hill Dealer and Africa Sales Representative — experience that now powers AD Global Sport.
Nigeria national boxing coach
Began four years as a national team coach (2013–2017), leading boxers at the World Championships, Commonwealth Games, All African Games and World Youth Championships.
Rio Olympic Games
Coached Nigeria’s boxers at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, after guiding the team through the Olympic Qualifiers in Cameroon.
Olympic Qualification Tournament
Guided Team Nigeria to three gold and three bronze medals.
African Games, Ghana
Led Team Nigeria to eight gold and two silver medals.
Technical Director, Nigeria Boxing Federation
Appointed to lead the technical development of boxing in Nigeria, alongside his role on the World Boxing Coaching Commission.
